Yvonne Winfrey is a passionate film director, producer, and writer with a dynamic career in the entertainment industry. Her extensive experience spans major television networks and studios, including NBCUniversal and CBS, and teaching at NYU Tisch Drama, where she has developed her skills in content creation, media editing, and storytelling.

Yvonne is becoming recognized for her approachable and collaborative approach to directing, which fosters a positive and productive environment on set. Her strength is bringing out the strengths in her actors and crew, ensuring that each member feels valued and empowered to contribute to the project. This commitment to excellence and teamwork has earned her a loyal and dedicated team that follows her from production to production.

Her first feature film, "White Vinegar," a thriller that explores the similarities between classism and racism, is a testament to her exceptional leadership and creative vision. As the writer, producer, and director, Yvonne successfully oversaw all aspects of the production, leading a dedicated post-production team and creating a compelling narrative that resonated with audiences.

Building on the success of "White Vinegar," Yvonne has recently completed writing her second feature film, "Rubber Room." She is eager to bring this new “Get Out meets Breakfast Club“ thriller to life, continuing her journey of creating impactful and thought-provoking cinema. As a Black, gay woman military kid raised around the country and world, Yvonne’s unique voice is also gaining recognition for her interesting narrative and screenwriting talents.

In addition to her film projects, Yvonne has launched her own film company, The Uncollective, based in Los Angeles. Through The Uncollective, she produces innovative and diverse content that resonates with diverse audiences and showcases unique voices. Through this venture, Yvonne looks forward to a future of continued dedication to her craft, collaborations, inspiring teams, and sharing her engaging films with diverse audiences!
