Shatara Michelle Ford
Shatara Michelle Ford is a writer, producer, and director who was raised in rural Arkansas and Missouri and graduated from Pitzer College and Royal Holloway, University of London. Their debut feature film, Test Pattern, starring Brittany S. Hall and Will Brill, follows the story of a Black woman and her white boyfriend who drive around Texas in search of a rape kit after she is sexually assaulted. Ford’s 2016 short film Afro-Woman: 2016 CE stars Zelda Harris, best known for her roles in Crooklyn and The Little Princess.
