Mati Diop is an actress and filmmaker (and niece of acclaimed Senegalese filmmaker Djibril Diop Mambéty). In 2019, she released her feature film debut Atlantics, a story about migration that seamlessly blends politics, romance, and the spiritual/supernatural.
