Lisa N. Alexander is the owner of PrettyWork Creative LLC and PrettyWork Studios. She helps small businesses and nonprofits amplify their stories through powerful video, branding, and communication strategies. She has directed and produced three documentaries for nonprofit agencies and has written her first feature film titled, "My Father, The Queen." The film is in pre-production and will be released in 2024.

“My Father the Queen” explores the relationship of a closeted gay Black man and his daughter, Kelly. The relationship turns cold after Walter is exposed by his wife Carolyn. Kelly is desperate for validation and approval and compromises herself to get it. The two are forced together during the pandemic when Walter catches COVID and lists Kelly as his next of kin. The film spans the 70s, 80s, 90s, and current day.
